Presage Craftsmanship Series Seiko Watchmaking 110th Anniversary Limited Edition SPB397

Presage Craftsmanship Series Seiko Watchmaking 110th Anniversary Arita Porcelain Dial Limited Edition. To mark 110 years of watchmaking excellence, Seiko is highlighting its continuous dedication to evolving technology, as well as diversity, equality and the sustainable manufacturing necessary to meet environmental challenges. Part of a collection celebrating traditional Japanese crafts, this exquisite Limited Edition, available only in a controlled-production run of 1,500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, extends the Presage tradition of blending precision technology with superior craftsmanship and design, offering the finest in Japanese mechanical watchmaking with a uniquely Japanese sense of beauty. Honoring traditional porcelain artistry, the distinctive dial is in a new ivory (“hakugourai”) color inspired by the Izumiyama Ceramic Stone Field in Arita, the center for Japanese porcelain for more than 400 years. Created by master craftsman Hiroyuki Hashiguchi in a painstaking, multi-stage process that, unlike other decorative methods does not rely on a metal base, the dial expresses gratitude to our land, source of the high-quality clay essential to the craft, and features a new design with alternating Roman numerals and indices, as well as a date subdial and a power reserve indicator. Visible through the screwdown, see-through caseback, the 29-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours and manual winding capability. In stainless steel, with super-hard coating and a new refined and beautifully proportioned case shape, this exceptional design includes a dual-curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, tri-fold push button release clasp, and a dark brown sustainable leather strap, certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Packaged in a Limited Edition collector’s box. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant
