An updated homage to Seiko’s landmark 1968 diver’s watch, this preeminent timepiece is part of the high-intensity Marinemaster collection, complete with a specially engineered, highly accurate mechanical movement and rugged features designed for professional divers. Expressing the emotional and mysterious world of deep seas, the blue pressed pattern dial showcases a unique wave pattern, with a transparent coating that gives it a rich and luxurious depth. Framed by uni-directional rotating bezel with super-hard coating for the ultimate in durability, the dial also includes LumiBrite coating on the hands, markers and 12 o’clock bezel marker for superior visibility in low-light conditions and is topped with a dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Following ISO standards for saturation diving to depths of up to 600 meters, this professional diver’s watch is powered by Seiko’s 8L45 automatic mechanical movement, hand-assembled at the Shizukuishi watch studio to provide the enhanced torque necessary the most challenging dives. With expanded accuracy and a power reserve of 72 hours, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and includes manual winding capability.
