1968 Diver’s Modern Re-interpretation Special Edition SLA075

1968 Diver’s Modern Re-interpretation U.S. Special Edition. Designed for those who treat life as the ultimate adventure, the Seiko Prospex line meets every challenge with technological excellence and style. Part of a rich legacy of innovation in high-intensity timekeeping, Prospex continues to celebrate a long history of sports watch excellence with re-creations and re-interpretations of landmark achievements. A streamlined and updated re-interpretation of Seiko’s landmark 1968 diver’s watch, this extraordinary timepiece, available exclusively in the U.S. market, has been inspired by the dangerous, yet compelling, world of undersea cave diving, complete with special features designed to enhance safety for intrepid divers. The unique patterning and gradation of the dark gray dial evoke the magnificent underwater cave formations as illuminated by the diver’s light. While the hands, markers and 12 o’clock marker on the black uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel all offer LumiBrite coating, the glowing color is different on the minute hand and the bezel to ease critical elapsed time measurement during these hazardous dives. In addition, there is deeper knurling on both the bezel edge and the screwdown crown for ease of use. For improved legibility, the dual-curved sapphire crystal features anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Following ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 200 meters, this exceptional timepiece is powered by the 26-jewel 8L35 automatic mechanical movement, hand-assembled at the Shizukuishi watch studio to provide the enhanced torque necessary for a diver’s watch, along with manual winding capability, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Crafted of stainless steel with super-hard coating, this rugged and superbly functional watch also includes a date calendar, secure screwdown caseback, and black silicone strap. Packaged in a collectors’ box. 200m Water Resistant

What Our Clients Say About Us

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a jewelry store. Michael helped me resolve a difficult product model and researched through very confusing details and outlined everything in plain English. He made sure that everything was over communicated and that I was comfortable. Since this was an out-of-state transaction it made it especially difficult and he was simply beyond patient and kept following up with me from beginning to end to make sure the process was smooth, all the while updating me consistently until I received the product. Superb service. Superb experience. Thank you!!!!

Went for an engagement ring. Very helpful with questions and concerns as well as showing me many options in and around my price range. Not pushy on selling me above my price range which was a nice change of pace. The ring needed to be sized up and they had it done same day because they knew I was leaving the following morning. Fast, friendly and professional through and through

I was looking for a particular piece of jewelry for my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary. I found it on Dejaun’s website but I waited too long and they sold out. I looked elsewhere but could not find it except for John Hardy’s website, but the price increased $700. I contacted Michael at Dejaun and he was extremely helpful and prompt with his responses. I told him the piece was a bit too much for me and he extended a very nice discount to get the price back to the original price. I ordered it and it was shipped to Dejaun and then to me very quickly with shipping information. I couldn’t be happier with the service and attention Michael provided. I highly recommend Dejaun! Thank you, Michael!
