Astron was created from Seiko’s passion for innovation, and now, with the design theme of ‘Solidity,’ a series of solar timepieces have been created for the innovative future ahead for Seiko watchmaking. This timepiece is limited to 1,200 pieces worldwide, lightweight with strong looks, the super hard-coated titanium case and bracelet, aluminium and ceramic bezel, and dual curve sapphire glass crystal are designed for durability. The silvery grey dial showcases an orange-accented vertical subdial layout and horizontal line patterned solar cell. This model has a contemporary feel, with its sleek lines, slim profile, and compact, angular design it has an almost seamless flow from the case, through the lugs and to the bracelet. This piece was designed to have a low centre of gravity, making comfortable on the wrist and the bracelet is crafted from titanium and ceramic for lightweight wearing. The micro-adjustable clasp feature adds a more personalised fit. This design is powered by the new in-house 5X83 solar-powered movement, which not only charges efficiently, but also features a 1/20th of a second chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The subdial at 12 o’clock is for the chronograph feature, the subdial at 9 o’clock for setting modes, and the subdial at 6 o’clock for a dual-time feature.

Such a wonderful experience. It was my husband and my 16 year wedding anniversary on the day we walked into the store. We weren’t expecting to find a beautiful band with my taste and in our budget. However, the owner and his son Sterling were very helpful and patient. Sterling has excellent taste and such a calm demeanor. We really felt comfortable and the owner gave us a great deal for our anniversary I will never forget this experience. They even fixed my engagement ring by replacing a stone that had originally fallen out and they also tightened all the prongs because the main diamond was wobbling in danger of coming loose. They did this all same day within a couple hours while I looked for my anniversary band! This meant so much to me because I hadn’t been able to wear my engagement ring for many years and I thought it would be super expensive to fix. The last time I went to a fast fix place and paid close to $1,500. They did a terrible job and replacing one of the small diamonds that had fallen out with a dark dirty dark diamond that didn’t match the rest of the diamonds on the band of my engagement ring…After that I was so disappointed and discouraged to take my ring again somewhere to fix it. But Dejuan’s totally took care of me and I paid under $200 to replace the small dirty diamond and fix the damage the fax fix place caused. To walk out on my 16 year wedding anniversary finally able to wear my engagement ring after so many years of keeping it in the drawer… ugh I can’t tell you how sooo thankful I am for good honest people and professionals!
