An internal protector made of resilient resin temporarily deforms to absorb shocks, achieving a timepiece with a full-metal exterior that meets G-SHOCK shock-resistance standards. The stainless-steel case employs a screw-lock case back to ensure a tight seal. Additionally, to make solar-powered operation possible for the high-definition, full-dot MIP LCD with memory embedded in each pixel — a display commonly used in G-SHOCK sports models — we developed a more energy-efficient version. This new display offers a total of eight different display styles: you can choose from two distinct styles — the easy-read STANDARD and CLASSIC for a traditional 7-segment look — across four display modes.
