Applied numerals are hand-painted in enamel matching the racing blue inserts on both sides of the massive 18kt Rose Gold case, while a hand-sewn calfskin and rubber strap recalls the linear tread pattern on vintage tires as it disappears into the lug-less Vanguard case. Visible through the sapphire back, the timekeeping engine of choice is a finely tuned and painstakingly embellished FM 2536-SCDT automatic movement that looks as good as it runs.
