The clean lines of the stainless steel Slim Vintage chassis conjure a retro motorsport feel with sweeping curves like those designed to cheat the wind on vintage racecars. On the dial, a Geneva wave pattern machined in metal evokes a motorsport vibe, while while the running sub-seconds display calls to mind a retro tachometer style used to track an engine’s RPM. The motor of choice for the Vanguard Slim Vintage is the Franck Muller Cal FM 708-S6. This automatic-winding timekeeping engine has been designed, engineered, fabricated, decorated and installed entirely in-house by Franck Muller’s own talented team of watchmakers and accurately & elegantly tracks time while running at 21,600 beats per hour. Visible via the sapphire rear windshield, this slim movement allows an overall height for this timepiece of only 9.2mm. Holding the Slim Vintage securely & comfortably on your wrist is a handsewn calfskin strap with contrast stitching and an 18kt Rose Gold tang style buckle.
