Extending the legacy of the Seiko Astron the world’s first commercially available quartz watch today’s Astron is designed for a new generation of leaders to break through to a new feature with excellence in both innovation and style. Combining solid tailoring with the highest degree of accuracy possible in a wristwatch this exceptional timepiece is equipped with the Seiko’s 5X83 caliber offering both high-speed GPS dual time and time zone adjustment to 39 time zones and a chronograph function that measures elapsed time in 1/20th second increments. The movement also features an AM/PM indicator daylight saving time function power save function perpetual day/date calendar correct to the year 2100 and a time transfer function that allows the user to switch the main time and dual time indications with the push of a button all powered by light energy with no battery change required. Framed by a titanium bezel with a black ceramic tachymeter insert and topped with dual curved sapphire crystal with super-clear coating the black dial displays a distinct texture made possible by improved charging efficiency of the solar cell providing an outstanding contrast to the subdials. In addition to the four subdials laid out vertically for a sporty look a first for Seiko Astron the dial includes a date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers.     I do have a decent collection of watches. But being interested in the G Shock MTGs and MRGs these days. For whatever reason, who knows, they are hard to get them on-line, most are sold out, you all know that, there are many fakes, plus the current special taxes (tariff). But, I would consider myself being lucky by finding Dejaun Jewelers. I called and talked to Sterling, knowing that they are an authorized dealer of many watch brand names including Casio.
